The supplement industry is booming right now, making it difficult to sift through the noise to find products that actually work and are made of all the right stuff. I was recently introduced to The Beauty Chef, an Australian brand that is all the rage on Instagram…for good reason, I’ve come to find out.
The Beauty Chef creates a range of liquid and powder supplements to help with a variety of conditions, including Acne & Congestion, Digestion, Stress & Sleep and Immunity & Vitality. Its products are bio-fermented using its own unique Flora Culture™ process. The six-week fermentation process produces probiotics and makes the ingredients more potent, giving them the right tools to help our gut, skin and the rest of our body. This unique bio-fermentation process already gives The Beauty Chef a leg up in the supplements game, solidified by its powerful blend of ingredients.
The first of its Inner Beauty Boost liquid formulas aims to do what many of us are reminded to do again and again: HYDRATE. The coconut and cucumber water-flavoured formula provides hydration from deep within, providing your skin with the moisture it needs to feel great and look glowy. From experience, having this formula once a day for a few weeks has recharged my skin! I used to get very dry skin very quickly after my morning and evening routines, but have felt like the moisture remains locked in for much longer with this formula. Unlike some bio-fermented products, the Hydration blend also tastes great, with stevia to add a sweet flavour.
The second blend targets collagen, with a combination of Vitamin C and Zinc to promote healthy skin, hair and nails. Like the Hydration blend, this tastes great – it has a berry flavour punctuated by grapeseed, pomegranate, papaya extracts, and acai and goji berry juice powders. Yum! It’s also a versatile blend, as you can add it to water, a smoothie or your favourite drink, and with continued use is designed to support radiant skin.
If the name doesn’t give it away, this powder aims to supercharge your skin from the gut outward. It contains Vitamins A and C and Zinc to support healthy skin, hair and nails and also boasts biotin and Vitamin B3 to support that super glow from within. As this product, just like the others, is designed to promote gut health, I have found that using it daily gives me a noticeable boost in my energy levels. As most of us know, gut health is key to overall health (including mental), and I’m a huge supporter of this being The Beauty Chef’s ethos.
Finally, we have the Adaptogen. You may have heard of adaptogenic herbs and wondered what they are. In short, they are herbal remedies to stress. Some popular adaptogens are reishi and ashwaghanda, which are commonly found in Ayurvedic medicines. The Beauty Chef takes this up a notch by compiling some of the most effective in one, easy to drink blend. Its Adaptogen formula includes ashwagandha, holy basil, and B Vitamins to refresh the skin and support stress-relief in the body. I’ve definitely noticed a change in my energy levels since beginning to use this blend once a day, and as a big fan of ashwaghanda can’t sing this adaptogenic blend enough praises!
