All cards below are from the Rider-Waite deck.
Aries
Three of Cups card. You’re good at celebrating the good times, Aries! And we all need someone like you around. You make your relationships light and fun (albeit passionate and intense) but regardless, you bring a sense of fun to things! You remind people why life is good, even when it’s a mess. This Valentines’ Day perhaps explore how you can lighten things up. Obviously the current time we’re in has a lot of us displaced and tight on cash, so explore how you can make your loved ones feel loved just by your good, fiery energy!
Taurus
Knight of Wands card. You’re always revved up and ready to go, Taurus! Just like this card, you have so much energy and passion in making things happen and going forth with plans. This card very much so expresses the act first and figure things out later vibe, and this sometimes really is you. It definitely eases tensions when everyone is faced with hardship, so this Valentine’s Day maybe express to everyone the need to not bring gifts or expensive experiences. Show to everyone the love that can come with simply going with the moment and being a little random with your plans!
Gemini
The Star card. A great reminder that you’re good at taking for yourself and giving to others. There’s plenty to go around this Valentine’s Day especially in the realm of thoughtful gifts – over expensive ones. What does self-care and self-love mean to you? How can that be used within you and then passed on to your loved ones? Be a beaming light of an example to them!
Cancer
The Tower card. You’re good at realising when it’s time to let things go. Just like the Tower card, sometimes it’s inevitable that there’s a time and place for everything to move on and forward. Though Valentine’s Day can be a hard time for many, especially in light of old relationships, try exploring and setting an example for many in how to heal and move forward. It doesn’t necessarily mean you’re “over” something but rather you’re keen to hold yourself first in the highest regard and take the steps to heal and create a safe space for yourself.
Leo
Three of Wands card. You tend to reflect a lot, Leo. Just like the person on the card, sometimes its really necessary to sit and reflect on what’s to come. The land the person is viewing on the card looks barren, but there is plenty of potential of growth. There might be uphill climbs like the mountains in the distance, but if anyone knows it – you know the amazing growth and journey that can potentially come. This Valentine’s Day look at your long term goals for love. This could be how you want to communicate and interact with family, or rather how you want your romantic relations to pan out. Sit and really think them through.
Virgo
Two of Pentacles card. A balancing act is not uncommon grounds for you, Virgo. You sometimes might find yourself having to balance either yourself and your family or your romantic lovers and yourself, or even your family vs your lovers. This Valentine’s Day it might be wise exploring why it’s like this and if you’re unhappy with that, how you can move forward. Are you keen to continue this balancing act? Or would you prefer an even, strong, foundation across all relations?
Libra
Five of Cups card. Take it easy, Libra. You’ve been hard on yourself and are potentially finding it hard to forgive what’s happened in front of you. This Valentine’s Day, forget everyone else, and really take time to forgive yourself for when you’ve been hard on your emotions, how you felt, and the turns you decided to take. There’s new possibilities all around, and the Five of Cups shows that. It just will take your lower your shield and embracing who you are, and pushing on to see the great possibilities.
Scorpio
Seven of Cups card. Within this card, Scorpio, comes a variety of gifts. Some are jewels and others are snakes. Just like in life, it’s key that you explore what valuable things mean to you. Are they important? Or rather are they just facades for problems you’re ignoring and trying to push away? This Valentine’s Day, be conscientious about the gifts you give and receive. Why are you giving the gift you’re giving? Is it to be nice and loving? Or to show off your wealth? Is this important to them? If so, will it last in the long run? Explore these themes.
Sagittarius
Ten of Swords card. This card exudes a theme of exhaustion and perhaps a figurative death. It’s time for change, perhaps. Don’t follow the rules of Valentine’s Day unless you want to enjoy it. It is, after all, one big capitalistic holiday, so don’t feel obliged to have to celebrate it, or buy gifts, or do anything for that matter! Turning a new leaf in your book is huge, and it’s very empowering for you to change your life in a way that goes against the grain.
Capricorn
Temperance card. There will be people who disappoint you, Capricorn. So if this Valentine’s Day you find yourself giving in to self-love a bit more, by all means, focus on that. Like the Temperance card, it’s key to balance things and be patient with yourself. Use your tools to swirl your energy around yourself, and make sure it’s whole before giving onwards to others. There’s nothing wrong with that!
Aquarius
Five of Pentacles card. While you might be holding onto a mindset of fear, or loss, or lacking in something – rest assure that there is help or support around the corner. Valentine’s Day is definitely a reminder for some in how lonesome they are, and while this isn’t a bad thing, it can sometimes bring us to forget the good in our lives. With this card, envision how you want your future to look, Aquarius. You don’t have to focus on Valentine’s Day as a holiday per say, but rather use it as a driving force to reflect on the possibilities to come (surrounding your love life, or platonic life.) There are endless possibilities, bountiful possibilities!
Pisces
Nine of Cups card. A beautiful reminder that you’ve solidified a lot this past year (and the start of 2021 already). Be proud of the foundations you’ve made with your loved ones and sit happily in knowing your circle is strong, caring, and loving. For Valentine’s Day, express your gratitude and welcome others to explore theirs too. This doesn’t have to come in the form of gifts but rather memories of sweet moments, or deep and intense loving moments. Cherish what is strongly here, as tomorrow is never guaranteed!
