All cards below are from the Rider-Waite deck.
Aries
Three of Wands card. The Three of Wands, Aries, is one that is both reflective and proactive. In the realm of love, when receiving this card it’s nudging you to be both patient and steadfast. Appreciate what is around you in love but also don’t settle. Your time isn’t here yet, so continue on in the search of a romantic love – it’s quite near. In terms of family and friendly love – be patient with everyone, as you might be a little impatient currently. Be reflective and grateful for what is around you – continue to uplift the good.
Taurus
Nine of Pentacles card. There’s a lot to be happy about, Taurus, for there’s security, safety, and stability on the horizon in love. Kick your feet up and really relax. Perhaps you’ve found “the One” or perhaps you’re just onto something really amazing with someone. Either way, really bask in the joys of new love and enjoy every minute of it. In times of uncertainty it can be hard to really enjoy something, but you’ve done a lot of grafting and hard work and as the joyous moments come – enjoy them.
Gemini
Five of Cups card. Don’t let you downfalls or past failures in love keep you from finding true, real love. The man on the card looks ashamed and as though he can’t quite get over the fallen cups. But there is a bridge in the horizon, showing him that there is a way to get past these things – if only he could see it. Open your eyes to the possibilities, Gemini, and don’t get stuck on the past. We must learn from it but to properly and healthily move on – we must acknowledge the hurt, the lesson, and gracefully progress on.
Cancer
Seven of Swords card. Cancer, is there something you’re hiding from a loved one? Perhaps a misshapen trust factor? If you have woes or worries with your current partner or loved on, it might be worth hashing it out and explaining your side. What are your expectations and goals for this relationship? As with this card, Cancer, the person on the card is essentially trying to trick or deceive the other people. This isn’t to say you are doing this, but rather perhaps you’re hiding something? (It doesn’t necessarily have to be something bad, but rather something you’re ashamed of or not ready to express.) For growing a better and stronger foundation, it might be worth exploring your boundaries and communication tactics with your partner.
Leo
Nine of Wands card. You do seem a little tired, Leo, and the card reflects that indeed. Perhaps you’re tired of pushing or persevering on, however the card signifies that you can indeed keep on. You might feel drained, so it may be the right time to take a breather and then continue on. Perhaps it’s in issues of communication with a loved one – in such, it may be worth taking baby steps in mending said relationship. Whichever arena it is, don’t hold your cards so close to you, put your heart on your shoulder and show your partner or loved one you’re ready to communicate some more.
Virgo
Wheel of Fortune card. Virgo, it seems you’ve been doing quite a bit of personal inner work and it really shows. Continue to keep this up as this will affect your personal relationships as well. As we know – what happens with us personally – translates to our relationships. Just like that, the Wheel of Fortune card resembles this. What goes up, will come down so ensure you’re ready for whatever may come your way. There are set to be new experiences on the horizon in love for you, so with the proper preparations and foundations you set within yourself, you’ll be ready for any surprises or possible unexpected turmoils coming your way.
Libra
Ten of Wands card. Libra, perhaps there are things holding you back – that essentially you’re holding on to. Within love, perhaps you’re super keen to find love, but can’t seem to let go of the past. With the Ten of Wands, the individual on the card has a lot to hold and prop up. However they’re aware that soon they’ll be able to release the load and just live – essentially. What could you do to ease your load and tension? Could you speak to someone about your feelings (past or present)? Could you eliminate some of the expectations you hold on people that might be holding you back from experiencing true, real happiness?
Scorpio
Justice card. Though an odd one to receive in the topic of love, Scorpio, you know what it means. Perhaps there’s something you’ve done you’re not proud of, or even lack of trust within your relationship. Either way, the best way to get to the bottom of this or progress onwards is to really open up. You’ve been a tad bit of a closed book, Scorpio, so by opening yourself up a bit more and really honouring honesty – it’ll be the best thing for any partnership.
Sagittarius
Knight of Cups card. Fresh starts, Sagittarius! This card is all about potential, possibility, and exploration. As the card shows a barren land with a river flowing through it – this signifies the overflowing abilities that water has to nourish and add growth to something. There are so many possibilities for you in love, and it’s long overdue! Have fun and really let loose in exploring your options. This isn’t a time to be settling or stagnant. (Do it with safety of course.)
Capricorn
Page of Wands card. A very interesting card, Capricorn, as it exudes the fact that you might be able to find love in the most unlikely places! Just like Rihanna sang “we found love in a hopeless place” you too might be finding love soon in areas where you may have never expected – that or a potential partner is unexpected. Perhaps shopping in the cereal aisle or waiting for a Zoom call to start in the waiting room – you never know what could happen. Honour the possibilities and be open to all that might come to you! (With safety again.)
Aquarius
Knight of Wands card. There seems to be an area you’re fearful of, Aquarius. Perhaps you’re noticing a pattern coming up that you’re nervous about or not ready to face fully again. Ask yourself why, and explore how you can successfully help heal yourself from this fear. Is it someone you’re with? Is it how they treat you? Or rather is it your own insecurities or fears that are stopping your growth from progressing? Whichever angle it is, if it isn’t dealt with, your path in love will continue to be faced with this fear.
Pisces
Page of Cups card. A great card to receive, especially being a Pisces yourself! Dealing with fish, water, and the flowing of it all, is something that comes naturally to you. The unexpected fish coming out from the cup resembles the unexpected possibilities you might come into around love and creativity. How you choose to express yourself in love or move forward with relationships will be unexpected and pleasant. What new ideas are coming to you? What new relationship paths are you keen to explore, that perhaps you haven’t before? All signs point to a positive experience, as long as what you’re doing comes from the heart and is genuine. Constant flowing love will continue to ripple just like the smooth waves in the background of the card.
