Aries
Nine of Swords card (reversed). The reversed card through all readings will interpret a different meaning to that of one that is upright. With the reversed Nine of Swords this reflects on your deepest fears which are holding much of your potential back. It’s time to really reflect on which fears are valid and which fears are potentially ego based and holding you back from truly reaching greater potential. Ego based fear could stem from self-doubt, and in any case if you’re specifically looking at a goal this week that you wish to pursue, but self-doubt is holding you back – it’s time to release the fear. You most likely have experienced something like this before, and the reversed Nine of Swords can sometimes indicate you’ve experienced this prior. Therefore, you may have the fear, but you know you can get through it if only you let it go.
Taurus
King of Pentacles card (reversed). The King of Pentacles reversed indicates there may be areas of your wealth or financial state that you aren’t managing properly. Are you generally frivolous with your funds? Care free? While it’s good to have a mindset of abundance, it’s key to realise that funds aren’t guaranteed to stay forever. However vice versa, you might be too focused on your wealth and keeping a tight grip on it, that all other areas of your life you’re neglecting. This week, reflect on both these areas, as only you will be able to judge which path you’re currently on. A Taurus and King of Pentacles both hold a similar trait – stubbornness. Take heed this week in easing up on your stubbornness and perhaps explore selflessness and spending quality time with someone else other than yourself (in safe social distancing of course.)
Gemini
Queen of Wands card. The Queen of Wands card is one that is empowering, supportive, and wants to see the best in you. However, do you want to see the best in you too? The Queen of Wands suggests indeed embracing your good traits and successes, but also exploring your shadows. As mentioned above, your shadows can be either the negative traits and wounds of yourself, or they can also just be areas of your life others haven’t seen or that you keep hidden. This week, explore the hidden. Explore what others don’t see – there’s plenty of time to be embracing the successes, but a lot of growth and goodness comes from doing the dirty work of shadow work.
Cancer
Six of Pentacles card (reversed.) Use this week to really explore what it means to give and receive. You’re known to give and give but make sure you’re receiving just as much. Likewise, make sure you’re giving for the reason of giving and not trying to prove a point. In a partnership you might actually be doing most of the work, and it’s important you take heed in pausing that this week. Is your generosity being taken advantage of? Is your partner reflecting the same generosity and giving attitude that you are? This week, put your partner in a zone where they have to work harder to give to the relationship – don’t just give in and let them do the bare minimum.
Leo
Eight of Cups card. This week, Leo, the Eight of Cups signifies time for a change. You might be at a crossroads or juggling many things at once – so it’s time to make some decisions. Perhaps you came into a lot of money recently or various jobs (but one tickles your fancy more), or you might be given the opportunity to start on a new path. Regardless, it’s time to be selfish and dedicate your time to one thing. As well – the Eight of Cups might be a sign you’re avoiding discussing something or avoiding an intense conversation you predict will happen soon. If the conversation itself terrifies you – ask yourself what it is you want from the outcome. It might be the case that the conversation itself isn’t really needed but rather you need to be honest with yourself in how you want the aftermath to be. For example, you might have a really intense fight with someone coming, but in reality you might just need to explain your wants and expectations from a relationship before that even happens.
Virgo
Magician card (reversed.) The reversed Magician card, Virgo, indicates you’re manifesting something really hard. This is half the battle, as the reversed Magician also indicates you’re stalling on taking action. If you are taking some sort of action, the reversed Magician might mean you’re just not seeing progress yet. In the grand scheme of it all, this card reversed resembles low rewards being seen. This week, it’s key you’re real with yourself and that you take action in doing something about what you want. Manifesting is one thing, but taking action and taking hold of your life is the other half.
Libra
The World card (reversed.) The World reversed resembles that you’re doing some of the dirty work in resolving personal issues. Look at the World as yourself, and it being reversed, we have to reflect on our inner worlds. What is it within you that you’re stalling to look at? It might also indicate you’re close to finishing a goal but are stalling or getting distracted. Whichever path it is – use this week to really focus and not lose sight of the greater good – finding peace within yourself and healing yourself.
Scorpio
Queen of Cups card. This card, Scorpio, is highlighting the importance of following your voice and intuition. You might have been pondering or walking along the lines of other people’s work, but this week it’s time to really figure out what it means to be you. What makes you unwaveringly you? It’s time to really follow your heart and recognise the potential you have within you. It’s all there. No doubt it’s hard as we’re in a generation where copying others or being influenced by them is so easy, but really focus on you this week.
Sagittarius
Temperance card (reversed.) What is off in your life currently, Sagittarius? The Temperance card reversed can mean there’s something in your life that is off balance. It could be something to do with your work life being off balance or your emotions being off balance etc. Are you stressed? Are you feeling super emotional this week? Figure out why, and what you need to really come back to a place of healing and good health for you. There might be tension or turmoil but regrouping back to a place of balance is so key.
Capricorn
Three of Pentacles card (reversed.) Capricorn, the Three of Pentacles reversed might mean you’re struggling with balance or feeling like an outsider at work. Is there a team dynamic at work that you feel left out from? Do you feel like you’re being heard enough? Do you actually enjoy your job? As this card reversed can sometimes mean you’re driving yourself into a job that is unfulfilling and not giving you any sort of pleasure, happiness, or success. Reflect this week on what can be done at work to really give yourself the praise you deserve. If you work independently – it could mean you’re driving yourself too hard and aren’t giving yourself enough credit.
Aquarius
The Chariot card. This is a great card to receive, Aquarius. It reflects on strength, power, and determination. So in terms of what we’re ripping off this week in order to reflect on our shadows – it’s key you assert yourself this week. Don’t hide away in the shadows or cover yourself in an invisibility cloak. Make yourself known, reach out to new connections, and make some strong, empowered plans for yourself. Find the time this week to really put yourself first – enough of putting yourself second.
Pisces
Three of Wands card (reversed.) This card, Pisces, reflects on the idea that you might have tons of growth readily available to you and plenty of plans for the future, but for some reason it might be slowing down a little. Nevertheless, the Christmas break is a great time to reflect, pause, and rest. But make sure you really do rest. This reversed card also indicates you might be taking on a lot more than you are happily handling. Break down your tasks into smaller ones and make sure you are seeing fruition in your growth and goals. While I said to break tasks off into smaller ones, it might be wise to really take the time to also embark on one huge task for the time being. Your potential is there, and staying where you’re not wanted is not beneficial at all. You’ve planned plenty for this one big one, and it’s time to really soar with it – no fear at all.
