Tarot Tuesday: Your Week According to Your Zodiac Sign – October 13, 2020.

Happy Tarot Tuesday! For this upcoming week, it’s looking somewhat intense. Nonetheless, there are plenty of pockets of goodness that could pop up for you. There may be moments where you’ll be looking through rose coloured glasses, and other times where reality seems a tad too harsh for us all. In any case, allow yourself to feel what you must, and know that nothing lasts forever.

All cards below are from the Rider Waite card deck.
Aries
Queen of Pentacles card. This card, Aries, is a very wholesome one. The Queen of Pentacles promotes steady planning, reasonable and rational decisions, and keeping things simple. She looks at her pentacle with great poise and studies it maturely. Don’t overly share too much about your finances this week, Aries, as it might bring in unwanted guests who might make things complex. Take care of your home this week and really make it your nest once more. There might have been previous weeks where you felt lost, confused, or just alone. However the Queen of Pentacles comes up and presents you with almost a hand on your shoulder and notifies you she’s walking beside you. She is a self made woman, and one who is independent and strong – she will ensure you are too. What can you do this week to ensure you upkeep a momentum of strength and independence?
Taurus
Page of Cups card. An extremely inspiring and positive card, Taurus! This card represents new ideas, inspirations, hope, and looking at things from totally new angles. It’s signalling that this week you must look at things from a different perspective. For growth, for new experiences, for a total change in your journey, shake things up a bit! If someone approaches you with a new idea or creative adventure, take it and embrace it. Within love, you might be looking at things with a new set of eyes – a beautiful way to freshen up your life. Just like the fish in the cup – be open to seeing things where they shouldn’t be.
Gemini
Six of Wands card. The Six of Wands card is one that is all about victory, and acknowledgment. This week really bask in the good feelings when someone congratulates you or recognises your efforts. There will be great achievements this week around finances, even if they’re internal moments of growth around budget planning. This isn’t to say you’ll win the lottery, but it could mean subtle moments of growth that are just as necessary as winning big cash. Would it hurt to put away a few tenners for a rainy day? Save wisely!
Cancer
The Devil card. Though seen as a scary and typically negative card, the Devil – much like The Fool card, has plenty of good to say. Likewise though, the Devil card represents some feelings of entrapment and lack of fulfilment in your life. What have you become attached to that isn’t serving you? Is there something weighing you down? Is it your expectations of yourself, or rather what you think others want of you? The Devil card can also signal an attachment to something negatively impacting you. It could be bad things in your life that are disguised as good gifts, poor traits in communication, etc. In reality the Devil card is a positive one asking you to really reflect on yourself and your life. For example, one who might be overly helpful (thinking they’re doing all they can) but could be actually detrimental to their own selves, or a relationship. Are you giving too much of yourself away and not enough to your inner soul?
Leo
Nine of Wands card. Leo, this card has various meanings, but usually it has to do with how one has been treated and thus projects themselves onto others. It also can mean one has undergone several trials in their life that were very hard to get through – nonetheless they did get through it and have plenty of hope to exude from it. Be wary this week of how your past experiences affect your current personality and approach. Don’t turn stone because of the hurt in the past, be a change and show that good can come even from the biggest of hurts. The individual in the card holds their wand extremely cautiously and tightly, casting a dirty eye on it’s past hurts. Allow yourself to change this wand into something positive and walk forward with a new mindset.
Virgo
Wheel of Fortune card. Virgo, this card goes without saying that what goes around comes around and what goes up must come down. Indeed, you’ve been through a lot this year, and it doesn’t stop here. You’ve got your inner emotions and thoughts, and it’s time to bring them all down right to the centre of your core. Listen really good and hard. What is it you want? This merry-go-round or wheel of fortune will continue spinning you around until you make it stop. Take action and grab the reins of your life. What’s next?
Libra
Queen of Cups card. This card resembles the height of emotions. Libra, this is the week to touch your emotional side. Really connect with your soul and let yourself be more sensitive this week. Perhaps you’ve been shying away from your intuition because other people are so happy to speak for you – not this week. Use this week to speak for yourself and hear your voice. Others might be surprised, but carry on this chain of events, otherwise you might see yourself being taken advantage of for longer than you’d like.
Scorpio
Seven of Cups card. Scorpio, more recently you’ve been dreaming a lot, which is stellar in itself but as your dreams build up – do your actions too? The card shows several gifts in cups, but all are within this cloud of a dream. Make sure this week you’re implementing strong action planning and goal oriented thoughts. Lots of dreams and no planning doesn’t make for very confident outcomes. The Seven of Cups represents the reminder of the positive in dreaming, but the necessity in actions. It’s key that this week you start making better decisions on your life – it’s fine living it in your dreamscape, but wouldn’t you be happier if your dreams were your reality?
Sagittarius
Ten of Pentacles card. Sagittarius, finally your efforts are paying off. This week you’ll see something finally crack – whether it’s a business plan or efforts in a relationship, either way your long term efforts finally are paying off. You know it better than anyone, hard work pays off and doesn’t come easy. Use this week to rest, but also make a few small plans for your future to come. As you know, just because you get one gift from hard work, doesn’t mean you should stop there. Continue making small plans that will eventually build towards the bigger picture.
Capricorn
The Tower card. Capricorn, this year has been nothing short of intensity, we can all agree on that. However, the Tower card asks you “what more can I do to really help promote positive change within myself?” Something groundbreaking needs to happen this week – and it will. It could be career wise, it could even be mentality wise. Perhaps a belief you had for a while will suddenly part ways, and you’ll find yourself lighter than ever. The card itself looks daunting but it doesn’t necessarily mean the change will be horrific. It will be monumental, and your inner soul will change, but it will be for the better.
Aquarius
Three of Swords card. Aquarius, the Three of Swords card represents hurt by words, actions, and intent. In all realms emotional and physical, this card is one that points towards your hurt side. However, the card also expresses that with all storms and all bad things, this too shall pass. Use this week to remember that, and really stop and acknowledge when storms pass – how does it feel? Don’t wait weeks or months to realise a storm has passed, realise it now!
Pisces
Five of Pentacles card. Pisces, perhaps there are issues looming on your mind that are causing you much worry. Two individuals in the card are both struck with worry, financial loss, and are injured. They’re so focused on their worries and losses, they fail to realise there is a church right next to them – a symbol of hope, faith, and optimism. Pisces, use this as a sign – even if you’re not religious – that there is hope and faith everywhere if only you look for it and believe. Don’t drown in your worries, if you can choose hope, don’t fret over whats yet to come, if you can plan and believe in what’s to come.
