Whether you’re working for yourself, someone else, or just have some tasks that need to be done, you’ll likely be using technology to help you get through your work. Here are three apps that you should download stat.
Bear is my favourite note-taking app and has allowed me to make lists, jot down ideas and plan things in a really well-though out way. The app is designed with a minimal and clean interface, and allows you to make lists, change fonts, and add tags amongst a host of other great features. What makes it so great to use and what allows you to be productive with it is how easily organisable the notes are.
This isn’t an app that you can download on your phone, but it’s a definite time-saver. If your’e someone with a lot of meetings on your schedule then Calendly is the way to go – it helps you create a shareable calendar that you can send to others and they can then book a slot for a meeting/call etc. This will save you a ton of time as you don’t have to email back and forth to find the perfect time that suits both parties.
Team-working app Slack is probably already on your radar, but if it isn’t then you need to jump on the bandwagon. The app lets you join forces with others by creating or entering a ‘workspace’ where you can message others in your team, send videos, organise meetings and pretty much collaborate in a myriad of ways. It’s the fastest and easiest way of getting in touch with teammates and sharing ideas, so it’s no wonder that it’s so popular.
