A new Indian restaurant named ‘OmNom’ opened in January 2020. Based in London, this eatery focuses on providing customers with an exquisite experience: enjoying hearty plant-based food and offering yoga and meditation classes.
The restaurant provides plant-based food to its customers. Created by Aryuvedic principles of culinary cuisine, OmNom prepares dishes using fresh, natural ingredients with healing properties in mind. The spices used in the food help the dishes to be packed full of flavour but they also aid our body’s digestive system and enhance our immune system.
Yoga is another essential element embedded in the heart of OmNom’s ambition. Inspired by yogis and gurus in India who specialised in meditation and wellness, individuals are invited to have a bite to eat and then go for a yoga class at the restaurant. Customers book classes in advance (as it can be popular!) to participate in and also to attend events that can teach you about mantra meditation and mindfulness in music.
Founder, Radhi Devlukia-Shetty, wanted to create an environment where physical wellbeing fuses with mental wellbeing. Devlukia-Shetty herself eats cleanly with a plant-based diet as well as frequently incorporating meditation and yoga into her fitness regime.
With a strong emphasis on mental and physical wellbeing, OmNom proves to be a one-of-a-kind culinary experience. Cooking with natural spices which help the body and immune system whilst also offering yoga and meditation for our mental wellbeing is a unique entry into the culinary industry.
